Genesis of the Louis Ouvrard’s legend
In December, 2007, our cousin Marquisienne,
Marie-Claude Bernard, forwarded me the e-mail from an
Australian woman coming down from a Louis Ouvrard, born in Cholet, found on
Geneanet and cousin with her and me.
She owned photos and sufficient elements of researches to assert that he was “our” Louis Ouvrard, born in Cholet 5/4/1856; I confirm it and for this day we correspond regularly around this enigma; how did a young boy from the Mauges leaved France around 1880, to create family to the antipodes ? Maybe a sailor, an adventurer, an escaped convict, a "Communard" of 1871, dates matched well.
Thank you Marie Claude
